Strawberry Farm in Cadagmayan Norte, Santa Barbara, Iloilo

Hon. Mayor Dennis S. Superficial with staff of Under Secretary of Agriculture Sec. Puyat in the person of Ms. Joey Faustino, Larry P. Nacionales-Regional Director, Mr. Victor Nabor, Dr. Hector PeƱaranda of DA RFU VI, Municipal Agriculture Office Staff headed Ms. Waling Waling Terania visited the Strawberry Farm located at Sitio Bantayan, Cadagmayan Norte, Santa Barbara.  The farm is owned by Mr. Carlos Solinap and the area planted is 200 sq meters. Municipal Agricultural Technologist Allan Sulleza said that the seedlings of these strawberries came from Baguio City which they brought home after the Educational Tour of Palaycheck Training of Trainers last June to October 2012. Jose Maria Tuvilla kisses the feet of the apostles as he performs the traditional washing of feet MAUNDY THURSDAY ( also known as Holy Thursday, Covenant Thursday, Great and Holy Thursday, Sheer Thursday and Thursday of Mysteries ) is the Christian feast, or holy day, falling on the Thursday before Easter. It commemorates the Maundy and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles as described in the Canonical gospels. Maundy (from Latin mandatum or mendicare), or Washing of the Feet, is a religious rite observed as an ordinance by several Christian denominations. John 13:1–17 mentions Jesus performing this act. Semana Santa in Santa Barbara 2014: Domingo de Ramos in pictures

PALM SUNDAY commemorates the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem. It commences the start of the Holy Week with rituals and traditions that include a procession of the assembled worshippers carrying palms, representing the palm branches the crowd scattered in front of "Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem". The origins of the Palm Sunday palaspas can be traced as far back as the pre-Hispanic Philippines.
