Another tourist destination in town is the (upcoming) Santa Barbara Eco-Adventure Park.
To be integrated with the historic Irrigation Dam built in 1926, the future eco-adventure park is a Private-Public Partnership with the LGU spearheading with the PhP 1 Million PCF (Presidential Challenge Fund) Subsidy given by DILG to Santa Barbara after having awarded the Seal of Good Governance.
Baranggays. GMTD and Duyan duyan have joined hands with private owners of adjoining lots who are also participating in this ecological project development venture.
Based on the perspective, amenities would include a zip line, cottages & cabanas, swimming pools, boating facilities, playground, food kiosks and ample parking for guests, among others. Check out the groundbreaking photos from Santa Barbara Ugyon.
The Santa Barbara Eco-Adventure Park is located 400 meters from the main highway and around 1 kilometer from the town center. It is very accessible to public transportation to/from the town.
